Police Log: Danvers Man Arrested on Warrant for Drug Possession

Monday, Feb. 17

At 9:14 p.m., police took a report after a hit-and-run accident on Andover Street.

 

Tuesday, Feb. 18

At 9:52 a.m., police received a call about a larceny for more than $250 on Maple Street. Police took a report.

At 1:04 p.m., police helped rescue a 3-year-old locked in a motor vehicle at Walmart.

At 2:07 p.m., a motorist reported a hit-and-run accident in the Market Basket parking lot.

At 2:45 p.m., a Sycamore Street reported a stolen ring.

At 10:44 p.m., police responded to a report of two males fighting at Motel 6. Police took a report. There were no reported injuries.

 

Wednesday, Feb. 19

At 8:11 a.m., a Kirkbride Drive resident reported a hit-and-run accident.

At 1:28 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident at Maple and Vineyard streets. There were no reported injuries.

 

Thursday, Feb. 20

At 6:01 p.m., police responded to a three-car accident at Elliott Street and Route 128. There were no reported injuries.

At 6:25 p.m., police notified the Department of Public Works about a pothole on Collins Street.

At 7:27 p.m., police responded to Chester Street about kids with a laser pointer. The youths left before police arrived.

At 8:03 p.m., a Cardinal Road resident reported a house was toilet papered.

At 10:24 p.m., police arrested Kyle Kohler, 25, 3309 Kirkbride Drive, Danvers, and charged him on a warrant for possessing a Class A substance.

 

Friday, Feb. 21

At 5:14 a.m., a Lindall Street resident reported a raccoon in a home. Police notified Animal Control.

At 2:38 p.m., a Pleasant Avenue resident reported hearing footsteps in a residence. Police responded and didn’t find any issue.

At 9:50 p.m., police responded to Newbury Street after a hit-and-run accident. There were no reported injuries.
