Police Log: Danvers Man Charged With Burglary

Tuesday, July 8

At 6:40 p.m., police arrested Dennis Dicato, 31, 56 Orchard St., Lynn, and charged him with shoplifting by asportation (second offense). Police made the arrest at Walmart after a report of someone trying to steal baby formula.

Wednesday, July 9

At 6:15 p.m., a Lummus Avenue resident reported a break-in. Police took a report.

At 7:44 p.m., a Riverside Avenue resident reported a stolen motorcycle.

Thursday, July 10

At 10:54 a.m., police arrested Ryan Lawrence, 20, 14 Putnam Lane, Danvers, and charged him with breaking and entering in the daytime for a felony and larceny from a building. Police made the arrest on Putnam Lane.

At 12:07 p.m., an employee at Ann & Hope reported bath items were stolen.

At 12:31 p.m., a Brooksby Village Drive resident reported credit card fraud.

At 10:56 p.m., police placed a 28-year-old Gloucester man into protective custody after a report of a male being assaulted on Wenham Street.

Friday, July 11

At 8:30 a.m., police received a call from the Liberty Tree Mall after a laptop was stolen from a vehicle.
