Police Log: Danvers Police Arrest Shoplifting Suspects

Monday, Oct. 20
At 6:05 p.m., police arrested Linda Rosten, 54, 2 Monroe Court, Peabody, and charged her with shoplifting by price tag tampering and shoplifting by asportation. Police made the arrest at Walmart.

At 4:04 p.m., police took a report after a report of a larceny at Guitar Center.

At 11:22 a.m., police received a call from the Danversport Yacht Club about stolen lumber. Police took a report.
At 4:57 p.m., police received the first of many calls that night about downed trees and wires during the rainstorm. Police responded to downed trees, limbs and wires on many streets, including High Street, Riverside Street, Lawrence Street, Harbor Street, Franklin Street, Bow Street, Columbia Road, Newbury Street, North Street and Kirkbride Drive.
At 5:12 p.m., police assisted in getting a 5-month-old child out of a locked motor vehicle at BJ’s Wholesale Club.
At 5:29 p.m., police responded to Hilltop Road after a trampoline reportedly blew into the road.
Thursday, Oct. 23
At 5:13 a.m., police responded to one of many calls about flooding because of the rainstorm. Over the next few hours, Danvers Police responded to flooding calls on Sylvan Street, High Street, Ash Street, Lawrence Street, Elliott Street, Burley Street, Conant Street and Maple Street.
At 2:37 p.m., police arrested Emmanuel Dejesus, 30,104 Grant St., Lynn, and charged him with shoplifting by asportation. Police made the arrest at Marshalls.
Friday, Oct. 24
At 2:02 a.m., police responded to Poplar Street about a group of people arguing. Police arrived and did not find any problem.
