Police Log: Danvers Police Make Three Shoplifting Arrests

Wednesday, March 12

At 6:47 p.m., police arrested a 16-year-old Salem resident and charged him with shoplifting by asportation. Police made the arrest after a report of three males shoplifting at Walmart.

At 6:57 p.m., police responded to The Hardcover Restaurant after someone broke into a vehicle by smashing the rear window.

Thursday, March 13

At 6:08 a.m., police arrested Ralton Rangulong, 40, homeless, and charged him on a warrant. Police made the arrest at Motel 6.

Friday, March 14

At 2:14 p.m., police responded to a report of a fight at Holten Richmond Middle School. Police took a report. 

At 5:36 p.m., police arrested Celeste Cohen, 72, Nahant, and charged her with shoplifting more than $100 by asportation and shoplifting by asportation. Police made the arrest after the report of a shoplifter at Walmart.

At 6:49 pm., police responded to a Danvers residence about explicit photos. Police took a report.

At 7:38 p.m., police responded to an Andover Street business after someone was scammed out of money. Police took a report.

At 11:04 p.m., police arrested Stephen Gillis, 52, 630 Palmer Ave., Falmouth, and charged him on a warrant. Police made the arrest at Motel 6.

Saturday, March 15

At 12:22 p.m., police responded to Andover Street about malicious damage to a motor vehicle.

At 1:44 p.m., police were called to Extended Stay America about a larceny.

At 7:37 p.m., police arrested Joshua Fleuriel, 28, 22 Lake Shore Dr., Georgetown, and charge him with shoplifting by asportation. Police made the arrest after a report of a shoplifter at Kohl’s.

Sunday, March 16

At 12:29 a.m., police placed a 42-year-old Rhode Island man into protective custody after a report of an unwanted guest at Knights Inn.
