Police Log: Man Charged With Attempted Murder and A&B on Two Police Officers

Excerpts from the Danvers Police Department log.

Monday, Sept. 1

At 7:08 a.m., police arrested Enriquez Rivera, 42, 18 Williams Ave., #1, Lynn, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle without a license. Police made the arrest during a traffic stop on Newbury Street.

At 2:09 p.m., police took a report after a call about credit card fraud at Guitar Center.

At 2:13 p.m., police arrested Joshua Senibaldi, 27, 12 Bruce Place, Lynn, and charged him on a warrant.

At 5:41 p.m., police arrested Aura Dilone, 36, 2 Park St., Peabody, and charged the person with shoplifting by asportation. Police made the arrest after a report of a shoplifter at Walmart.

At 8:21 p.m., police took a report after a call about a shoplifter at Walmart.

Tuesday, Sept. 2

At 8:12 a.m., police responded to Water Street after someone broke into a vehicle and stole tools. Police took a report.

At 12:02 p.m., police arrested Matthew Pendola, 26, 149 Park St., Beverly, and charged him with two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Police made the arrest after a medical aid call on Andover Street.

At 12:49 p.m., a Walmart employee reported someone stole an iPod case. Police took a report.

Wednesday, Sept. 3

At 3:51 p.m., police responded to Nordstrom Rack about credit card fraud. Police took a report.

At 4:45 p.m., a Walmart employee reported makeup and a bracelet were stolen.

At 5:56 p.m., police arrested Robert Sweeney, 51, 27 Burley Farm Road, Danvers, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and operating a motor vehicle with a rejected inspection sticker. Police made the arrest during a traffic stop on Sylvan Street.

Thursday, Sept. 4

At 12:25 p.m., Ira Lexus reported a stolen vehicle. Police took a report.

At 4:05 p.m., police arrested Donna Scalfani, 58, 23 Benevento Circle, Peabody, and charged her with larceny more than $250. Police made the arrest after a report of a shoplifter at Kohls.

At 7:51 p.m., police arrested Devin Kelly, 29, 152 Endicott St., Danvers, and charged him with attempted murder, two counts of assault and battery on a police officer, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, resisting arrest, failing to stop for police, negligently operating a motor vehicle, speeding and a marked lanes violation. Police made the arrest after a report of a fight at the Econo Lodge.
