Police Seeing Multiple IRS Scam Call Reports on Thursday

Danvers police urging residents to use caution.

Danvers, MA - Police officials are reporting that they have gotten multiple calls on Thursday concerning scam IRS calls to Danvers residents.

Police are reminding residents that the IRS will never call to demand immediate payment, nor will they call without first sending a bill.

The IRS will also never demand that you make payment without the opportunity to appeal, or require you to use a specific payment method for payment.
