Record Day At Topsfield Fair Hot Dog Eating Contest
Brandon Wood of Warren broke his own record from the 2022 Fair on Saturday.

DANVERS, MA — It was a record-breaking weekend at the 205th Topsfield Fair as Brandon Wood of Warren broke his own record in the Hot Dog Eating Contest by downing the equivalent of 22 standard hot dogs in just seven minutes.
Warren ate 11 quarter-pound hot dogs to snap his own previous record of 10 from 2022.
This was the fifth year of the Fair's hot dog bonanza with Wood winning the prize pot of $205 courtesy of contest sponsor Marc Freedman at the Bnai Brith Booth.

The Fair also crowned its Junior Queen and King, who will help represent the Fair at public events and parades throughout the year.
London Balford, 8, of North Andover and Austin Pavenski, 8, of Middleton, were crowned the 2022 winners on Saturday.

The winners were chosen based on interviews, conduct, personality and general appearance.
