Repeat Drugged Driver Drives All Over I-95 With Dog, Police Say

The Dracut man was under the influence of narcotics and resisted arrest after leading troopers on a chase, police said.

LEXINGTON, MA — A repeat drugged driver was arrested after he swerved all over I-95 with a woman and dog in his truck, police said.

Daniel Gentile, 59, of Dracut was arrested after police received reports of his white Dodge Ram pickup driving slowly and erratically "all over the road" across multiple lanes of I-95 South in Stoneham. The truck almost hit several vehicles, police said.

Troopers tried to stop Gentile, but he led them on a pursuit. Police deployed "stop sticks," which act as tire deflation devices, forcing the pickup to come to a stop in Lexington.
