Salem Man Charged With Stealing Two Tip Jars From Jimmy's

The following information was provided by the Danvers Police Department. Where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following are excerpts from reports in the Danvers Police Department press log from April 28-29.

Sunday, April 28

  • 5:29 p.m. Report of a motor vehicle hit-and-run accident at Walmart.
  • 8:20 p.m. A Perry Terrace resident reported fraud involving a debit card.
  • 8:58 p.m. Jason Langill, 43, of 56 Margin St., Salem, was arrested, following a report of a larceny at Jimmy's Famous Beef & Seafood. Police said two tip cups were stolen. Langill was charged with larceny from a person. 

Monday, April 29

  • 11:24 a.m. Jennifer Conway, 39, of 34 Meadow Ln., Middleton, was arrested, following a motor vehicle stop on Maple Street at Route 1. She was charged on a warrant.
  • 12:58 p.m. Stefanie Santarpio, 37, of 77 Essex St., Swampscott, was arrested, following a report of a shoplifter at Kohl's. She was charged with one count of shoplifting.
  • 3:57 p.m. Report of a larceny at Tile By Design on Route 114. The stolen property was valued at $8,700.
