The grant initiative, which was approved in the spring of 2011, has three main goals: to increase participation in AP courses, increase performance, and increase college success. According to Dana, the sign-ups for AP classes in math, science and English have doubled since the initiative's inception.
4. Retirements announced at the meeting were: Suzanne Webb, teacher at , Eleanor Page, teacher aide at , and Richard Warren, Danvers Public Schools Director of Finance and Administration.
