SEX OFFENDER MAP: Where Do Danvers' Highest Level Sex Offenders Live and Work?

Danvers has four Level 3 sex offenders who live or work in the city, according to the state’s Sex Offender Registry Board.

The Level 3 sex offender designation is reserved for the most severe offenders. Level 3 sex offenders pose a ”high risk” to reoffend, according to the state. They are not wanted by police, and it is illegal to use the following information to commit a crime or engage in any discrimination or harassment against an offender.

John Chase, 61, 450 Maple St., home. Two counts of aggravated rape (Aug. 16, 1983 conviction).

Richton T. Muller, 61, 450 Maple St., home. Three counts of rape (June 14, 1990 conviction).

Joel Pentlarge, 64, 128 Water St., work. Five counts of rape and abuse of a child (July 31, 2010).

Bruce A. Thompson, 48, 450 Maple St., home. One count of rape and abuse of a child (May 10, 1994 conviction).
