Shoplifters, a Bat and a Sinkhole
The following information was provided by the Danvers Police Department. Where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following are excerpts from reports in the Danvers Police Department press log from June 25-26.
Tuesday, June 25
- 8:10 p.m. Miana Hill, 20, of 4 Essex St., Beverly, and Lidia Reyes-Mejia, 19, of Norwood, were both arrested, following a report of a shoplifting at Walmart. They were both charged with one count each of shoplifting.
Wednesday, June 26
- 1:30 a.m. A Grant Street resident reported there was a bat in the house.
- 2:04 a.m. An officer reported he was "checking for miscreants" at John George Park.
- 10:27 a.m. Report of malicious damage to a home on Sharons Way. A fence was spray-painted.
- 12:07 p.m. Report of a sinkhole on Northshore Avenue.
- 3:13 p.m. Report of a larceny at Piercing Pagoda. Police said receipts were taken.
- 4:25 p.m. Report of a motor vehicle accident with personal injuries on Route 128 South. State police handled the accident.
