September 8, 2015
Danvers, Massachusetts- St. Mary of the Annunciation school is delighted to be represented by its St. Cecelia Choirs this October. This fall, the choirs are scheduled to help lead the 11:30 Mass on October 11th.
The school has a tradition of fine singing groups, but it has recently seen a surge in its choral program with music teacher, Peter Stewart. Mr. Stewart comes with experience, as he has led people in song all across the country for over 45 years, and is delighted to be working at SMA.

“I originally came to the school to play Santa in it’s production of ‘Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer,’ says Stewart. Under his leadership, the choirs have sung at The Old North Church and St. Anthony’s Shrine in Boston, the National Shrine of our Lady of LaSalette in Attleboro, Massachusetts and the Sisters of Notre Dame in Ipswich.
There are three choirs offered by SMA: The St. Cecelia Senior Choir ( grades 6,7,8) the St. Cecelia Junior choir (grades 3,4,5), and the Little Singers ( grades 1+2 )
