Stormy Weather Causes Cancellations Tonight
The stormy weather and hazardous driving conditions today have caused some events in town to be postponed for the evening.

The stormy weather and hazardous driving conditions have caused a number of cancellations this afternoon and evening across town.
The Danvers High boys' has been postponed to tomorrow night, still at DHS. The junior varsity squads will play at 5:30 p.m. and the varsity teams at 7 p.m.
St. John's Prep also cancelled all afternoon school activities, including sports practices and a at the Reggie Lewis Center. The school library closes at 5 p.m.

The Prep also canceled its annual tonight due to the inclement weather and plans to reschedule it at a later date. Likewise, DanversCARES has postponed a lecture in its parent enrichments with author Sue Blaney this evening and will reschedule.
But Town Manager Wayne Marquis says the weather won't stop the tonight. The board is still scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. in Toomey Room. The is also scheduled to meet at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Manager’s Conference Room.
