Street Paving Delayed Because of Expected Rain

Because of the forecast for heavy rains tomorrow, the paving of Conant Street and the Conant/Poplar/Elliott Street intersection is being rescheduled to next Tuesday, July 1.  

The paving on Conant Street will start at approximately 2 p.m. next Tuesday. The Conant/Poplar/Elliott Street intersection paving will begin at approximately 7 p.m. after the evening rush hour, continuing until the intersection is complete.

The Wednesday paving will go on as planned. Park Street is being paved Wednesday morning. Then Elliott Street from the Conant Street intersection, up the hill to the 128 ramps, will be paved.
