Suspect in Danvers Bank Robbery Arrested

Brandon Bottari, 27, formerly of Saugus and now homeless, was arrested Thursday by MBTA transit police.

DANVERS, MA —A suspect in a Danvers bank robbery is now in police custody.

Brandon Bottari, 27, formerly of Saugus and now homeless, was arrested Thursday by MBTA transit police. He was also wanted by several agencies in the Boston area on multiple charges, according to the Salem News.

Police say they were able to identify Bottari as a suspect through the FBI's fingerprint identification system.

On July 6 at 2:40 p.m., police responded to a report of an unarmed robbery at Align Credit Union on Route 1 South. Bottari allegedly fled the scene before police arrived, according to the Danvers Police Department.
