Teen Arrested for Stealing Video Game Controllers

The following excerpts are from reports in the Danvers Police Department press log from Aug. 7-9.
Wednesday, Aug. 7
- 7:53 p.m. Walter Sanchez, 47, of East Boston, was arrested, following a motor vehicle stop on Route 114. He was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
- 8:34 p.m. A caller complained youths were throwing rocks from a bridge on the rail trail.
- 8:58 p.m. Report of an intoxicated person at the Gulf gas station on High Street.
- 8:58 p.m. Report of construction at Essex Aggie that was disturbing the peace.
- 10:49 p.m. Cammie Hills, 44, of 99 Water St., Danvers, was arrested, following a report of a fight in the Elm Street Municipal Parking Lot. She was charged with domestic assault and battery.
Thursday, Aug. 8
- 3:32 a.m. Report of a possible water main break near 47 Hobart St. The DPW was notified.
- 9:08 a.m. An officer recovered a needle on Summer Street.
- 10:54 a.m. Report of a water main break at 36 Northshore Ave.
- 12:06 p.m. Cristian Solis, 21, of 37 Witt St., Lynn, was arrested, following a motor vehicle stop on Route 114. He was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and on a warrant.
- 2:11 p.m. Report of a motor vehicle accident with personal injuries at the corner of Conant Street and Lane Parkway.
- 4:03 p.m. Sean Driscoll, of Haverhill, was arrested at Motel 6 on a warrant.
Friday, Aug. 9
- 11:46 a.m. Ruby Ross, 23, of 102 Newbury St., Danvers, was arrested, following a report of an unwanted guest at the Extended Stay Hotel on Route 1.
- 12:42 p.m. Police recovered some property at a Patricia Road home. A resident turned over firearms.
- 2:51 p.m. Report of a motor vehicle accident with personal injuries at the corner of Centre and Prince streets.
- 3:12 p.m. Bryce Riley, 19, of 43 Washington St., Groveland, was arrested, following a report of a shoplifter at Walmart. He was charged with larceny over $250 (video game controllers).
- 3:34 p.m. Report of a motor vehicle accident with personal injuries at the corner of Damon and Park streets.
- 4:13 p.m. Report of possible drug paraphernalia found in a room at the Extended Stay Hotel.
