Teenager Allegedly Found With Stolen Backpack

Sunday, March 10

  • A complaint about youths throwing snowballs came from MacArthur Boulevard at 5:02 p.m. They were gone when officers arrived.
  • A check was requested of two men in the woods near Market Basket on Endicott Street at 6:24 p.m. A search of the area did not come up with anything.
  • A resident was notified for another department at 27 Roosevelt Avenue at 7:39 p.m.
  • A complaint about phone calls came from 22 Cherry Street at 7:54 p.m. A report was filed.
  • A resident was notified for another department at 11 Morgan Dr. at 8:51 p.m.
  • A suspicious man wearing a hoodie was reported in Lawrence Street Playground at 10:39 p.m.

  • Another department was assisted locating a suspect in a domestic dispute at Motel 6 at 12:19 a.m.
  • A report of teenagers misbehaving came in form McDonalds on Andover Street at 1:43 a.m. A search of the area did not come up with anything.
  • Suspicious activity was reported Hollywood Hits at 2:08 a.m. Officers spoke to some people.
  • The traffic lights were reportedly flashing at Andover Street and Palmer Avenue at 4:16 a.m.
  • A lost motorist was assisted at Maple and Summer streets at 4:20 a.m.
  • An arrest was made after a motor vehicle stop at Supreme Roast Beef on Maple Street at 5:19 p.m. Jason Gheorghe, 27, of 4 Country Club Road, Peabody was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
  • A summons was issued after a motor vehicle stop at 40 Polar St. at 8:13 a.m.
  • A suspicious vehicle was reported 4 Prentiss Road at 8:31 p.m. A report will be filed but no further details were available.
  • A problem with phone calls was reported at 30 Congress Ave. at 12:53 p.m. A report was filed.
  • A warrant was served at a Beaver Park address at 12:55 p.m. Maureen Delomba, 38, of 19 Beaver Park, Danvers was arrested on several warrant from 2012 charging her with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery on a person over 60 intimidation of a witness and assault with a dangerous weapon.
  • Somebody reported that a catalytic converter had been stolen from their sport utility vehicle at Danversport Yacht Club at 1:36 p.m.
  • An arrest was made after a motor vehicle stop near 105 Andover St. at 1:45 p.m. Fabio Leite, 37, of 320 Grant St., Framingham was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and no U-turn.
  • A check was conducted on a female and child at 311 Newbury St. at 2:45 p.m.
  • A man showed up at Savers on Endicott Street at 2:49 p.m. who had been seen there 7 to 10 days earlier approaching men in the men’s room and exposing himself. The man was gone when police arrived by the store employees wanted the incident documented.
  • Papers were exchanged after a minor car crash with no injuries near 379 Andover St.
  • Threats through a text message were reported at 22 Trask St. at 6:16 p.m.
  • A complaint was received about illegally parked vehicle on Page Street.
  • A well-being check was conducted on an elderly female at 6 Massachusetts Ave. at 7:22 p.m.
  • A woman reported her 32-year-old daughter missing at 19 Water St. at 7:26 p.m. The woman said she usually talks to her daughter every day but had not heard from her for several weeks. The daughter was entered as missing in the computer.
  • A report was written after a motor vehicle stop near Best Buy on Independence Way at 9:35 p.m.

Tuesday, March 12

  • Illegally dumping was reported on Grapevine Road near Thorpe School where trash had been left at 1:50 a.m.
  • A suspicious person was checked at 99 Conifer Hill Dr. at 2:54 a.m.
  • The residence at 15 Amherst St. was checked after loud noises were heard from the roof at 4:07 a.m.
  • A report of a car alarm going off near 14000 Bay Road at 4:15 a.m. was unfounded.
  • A well-being check was done on a person who walked off from CAB Adolescent Program on Middleton Road. A report was filed.
  • A car crash with no injury happened near Del Realty on High Street at 7:38 a.m.
  • An arrest was made at CAB Adolescent Program on Middleton Road at 9:49 a.m. Jacob Hebert, 17, of 9 Valentine Road, Pittsfied was charged with receiving stolen property and a warrant from Pittsfield for destruction of property. In Danvers, police said Hebert allegedly had a stolen Swiss Army backpack, iPhone charger and speakers that were not his. The items were returned to the owner.
  • A break-in attempt was reported at 50 Centre Street at 12:20 p.m. Police were told that a person was banging on the front door of the home and were trying to get in.
  • A well-being check was conducted at 25 Locust St. at 12:40 p.m. after somebody was threatening to harm themselves.
  • A problem with phone calls from ex-employees was reported at Oliver Garden at 1:06 p.m. A report was filed.
  • A theft of a catalytic converter was reported from a SUV at HomeGoods at 1:30 p.m.
  • Accidental damage was reported to the front sign at Hardcover Restaurant at 2:29 p.m. A report was filed.
