Three Arrested for OUI in Separate Incidents
The following information was provided by the Danvers Police Department. Where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following are excerpts from reports in the Danvers Police Department press log from June 7-9.
Friday, June 7
- 8:11 p.m. Lisa Stevens, 54, of 96 Newbury St., Danvers, was arrested at her residence, following a report of a domestic incident. One person was allegedly kicked in the ribs and Stevens was charged with domestic assault and battery. No injuries were reported.
- 8:30 p.m. Report of some stolen generators at Lowe's Home Improvement.
- 9:42 p.m. One man was arrested and his passenger was placed into protective custody after a pickup truck crashed into a guardrail on Route 62 near the state police barracks. Police said the vehicle was exiting Route 1 North onto Maple Street when the driver lost control and struck the guardrail. Christopher Harris, 27, of 88 Brimbal Ave., Beverly, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle after he failed a field sobriety test. A 26-year-old New Hampshire man was placed into protective custody.
- 10:02 p.m. Nancie Tomaselli, 63, of 64 Park St., Danvers, was arrested, following a car accident on Elliott Street. Police said two vehicles were traveling west on Route 62 when one rear-ended the other near the Route 128 overpass. It was raining at the time. No one was taken to the hospital and Tomaselli was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to use care in turning, stopping or starting.
Saturday, June 8
- 3:09 a.m. A caller reported there were intoxicated people being loud in a room at Days Inn and disturbing the peace.
- 3:41 a.m. Blake Coughlin, 20, of Everett, was arrested on a warrant at Days Inn.
- 10:41 a.m. Report of loose goats near the Baystate Animal Clinic on Route 114. No further details were available.
- 6:24 p.m. Fransciso Figueroa, 29, of 32 Dunlap St., Salem, was arrested on a warrant.
- 6:26 p.m. Romare Jenkins, 17, of 37 Winter Island Rd., Salem, was arrested, following a report of a shoplifting at Best Buy. Jenkins was charged with larceny over $250. Police said headphones and other equipment, which were valued at $386, were stolen.
Sunday, June 9
- 2:15 a.m. Melissa McDermott, 26, of 83R Hobart St., Danvers, was arrested, following a motor vehicle stop at the corner of Gould and Park streets. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, a marked lanes violation and failure to signal.
- 12:44 p.m. A Glendale Drive resident reported a stolen wallet.
- 1:24 p.m. Joshua Gauthier, 32, of 14 Collins St., Peabody, was arrested, following a report of a shoplifter at Walmart. Police said an iPhone cover was stolen. Gauthier was charged with one count of shoplifting.
- 4:15 p.m. Report of a dead opossum on Charter Street. The Animal Control Officer was notified.
