TOPSFIELD, MA — Up-Stand, a national organization that celebrates accessibility and the changing norms around what is considered family-friendly, has chosen the Topsfield Fair as one of its 11 Up-Stand Family-Friend Award recipients of 2023.

The awards aim to recognize outstanding efforts to improve access for children and their caretakers, advance awareness about how to accommodate families, encourage high accessibility standards in the service industry, and provide families with a guide to support these providers and ask for these accommodations elsewhere.

"We work hard every year to make the Topsfield Fair as accessible as possible for anyone that wants to attend," Topsfield Fair General Manager James O'Brien said. "We appreciate that Up-Stand has recognized our efforts with this award."
