UPDATE: Liberty Street Reconstruction Project Sidewalk Closure
Friday, May 1 will be the last day the sidewalk will be open until September.

Northern Construction is expected to finish sheeting along the length of the causeway this week.
Once finished, crews will turn their attention toward sheeting for the southern culvert excavation. The sidewalk over the causeway will be closed during that time, as the full width of the road will be disturbed by this activity.
Friday, May 1 will be the last day the sidewalk will be open. The sidewalk will not reopen until September. Please help spread the word to any affected parties, and make alternate arrangements to cross the causeway.

Away from the causeway, drainage installation continues. Construction crews are nearing the northerly limits of the project at Pauline Road, and are expected to continue work in this area for the duration of the week. Please obey all police detail commands and traffic signage when traveling through the work zone. If you have any questions, contact Mike Nelson at (978) 777-2668 Ext. 635.
The work is being completed as part of an $8 million Roadway/Culvert reconstruction project designed by the Town of Danvers with oversight of the construction by MassDOT.
