Who Will Be Topsfield Fair's Next Junior King & Queen?

The 205th Topsfield Fair is seeking entries for this year's pageant to be held on Sept. 30.

TOPSFIELD, MA — The 205th Topsfield Fair is seeking entries for the pageant to determine this year's Junior King & Queen.

The pageant is for children between the ages of 5 and 8, with the winners serving as representatives of the Fair at parades and other events throughout the year.

This year’s pageant will be held at 1 p.m. on Sept. 30 on the Trianon Stage.

All contestants are asked to be dressed in casual attire. Each child will be interviewed on stage and be judged according to general appearance, conduct, and personality.

Those interested in entering their child for the pageant can do so here by downloading an application from the Exhibitor's Handbook section of the Fair's website.

Ticket prices for the 2023 Topsfield Fair are $20 every day. Discount admission tickets are available here through Sept. 28. General Admission discount tickets can be purchased for only $15 plus a $2.25 convenience fee.

Tickets are good any day during the Fair’s 11-day run. A three-day pass, good for any three days, is available for $42 plus a $3.50 convenience fee. There is no convenience charge for tickets purchased at the Main Gate Ticket Booth on the fairgrounds.

Children under 8 are free with an adult admission ticket. Discounted ride tickets are also available when purchased in advance.
