Woman Killed, Two Hurt in Dedham House Fire
Fire officials say Lynne O'Brien has died following a house fire on Harding Terrace in Dedham.

One woman was killed and two people were injured, including three firefighters, Saturday morning in a house fire at 22 Harding Terrace in Dedham.
Firefighters responded to the home at 5:30 a.m. after neighbors phoned 911, fire officials say. Upon arriving at the scene, responders observed two injured individuals outside the home and learned of a third who was trapped inside.

Lynne O’Brien, 52, was located on the second floor of the two-story, single-family home. She was transported via ambulance to Norwood Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The other two residents were treated for minor injuries. Three firefighters were also treated for minor injuries, including a knee injury and heat exhaustion.

Preliminary investigation by the Fire Marshal’s Office indicates that the cause of the fire was electrical and accidental in nature. Officials say the fire does not appear suspicious at this time.
Dedham Fire Department, the Dedham Police Department, the State Fire Marshal’s Office, and the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office will continue to investigate the matter.
The Boston, Westwood, and Needham Fire Departments responded to the scene to provide aid.
