5 Things to Do This Weekend: March 2-4

Escape to the Community House, catch high school playoff action and take the kids skating.

 

It's Thursday, and you've got no idea what you'll do for the weekend. Dedham Patch is coming to the rescue.

  1. Where/When: on Friday at 7 p.m.
    Why go: Join friends at the Dedham Community House for their annual winter fundraiser. There will be a cash bar, prizes, beautiful starry night decor and more.

  • Dedham Girl's Hockey Playoff Game
    Where/When: on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
    Why go: Head to Nobles to root on the girl's hockey team in the first round of the South Division 2 playoffs as they host Sandwich.
    Price: $8 for adults; $6 for students

  • Where/When:  on Saturday at 11 a.m.
    Why go: Bring the kids for a day of free fun including games and arts and crafts. Kids grades kindergarten through 5 are invited to have lots of fun.

    Where/When: on Friday at 8:30 p.m.
    Why go: Catch the live tunes of the ever-popular Double Play with no cover charge.
    Price: Just the bar tab 

  • Oakdale School Free Skate
    Where/When:
    Noble and Greenough School on Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
    Why go: Lace up the skates with your kids and their friends for an afternoon of free ice skating. This is a free event for Oakdale families.
