Do You Have Information On Abandoned Dog?

Dedham Animal Control says it found the starving dog Monday morning.

DEDHAM, MA - Dedham Animal Control is searching for a person that may have abandoned a dog found in Dedham Monday morning.

Just before noon, Dedham Animal Control officer Jayson Tracy received a report of a dog suffering from extreme starvation. The dog, now named Stitch, was taken to the Animal Rescue League of Boston for medical treatment.

“This dog was cruelly abandoned,” said Lt. Alan Borgal, director of the ARL’s law enforcement team in a release. “He has no body fat to speak of — he could have easily died of exposure in the cold today if he wasn’t found so quickly.”
