The Dedham Square artist guild has teamed up with the Parish Players of Dedham to promote the arts. The Parish players are putting on the play "Alice in Wonderland" for this year's production. The Parish Players are a amateur theater group consisting mostly of First Church members and friends.
This years Performances March 28-30, 2013, Friday and Saturday, 7 pm, Saturday and Sunday, 2 pm
The Parish Players has asked the Guild to collaborate with them. The collaboration includes the Art Challenge "Wonderland" with it's Opening Reception: Thursday March 27th, 6pm to 8pm at the Historic Dedham Community Theatre. The art will include painting, photography, Pottery and more...
The Exhibition Dates: March 27 – MAY 26 at the Dedham Community Theatre
The Guild will also have a display table during the duration of show weekend and the table will be attended by artists on Friday night of the show. Art will be for sale that night.
It has been a great honor to be asked to collaborate with this group of actors, over the past years the Parish Players have put on the productions, Schoolhouse Rock Live!, Seussical the Musical, and Guys and Dolls. This is a multigenerational group of actors. The group works hard to make the sets, costumes, and acting.
