• 62-Year-Old Injured In Dedham Park Assault, Police Say (patch.com) — Dedham residents are being alerted after a 62-year-old man was hospitalized following an assault Saturday night at Condon Park on Bussey Street. Police say several juveniles were later located in East Dedham Plaza and may be connected, and the Dedham Police Department continues to investigate what led to the confrontation.
   

• 34 Local Students Named 2027 National Merit Semifinalists (town.news) — Several Dedham students at Noble and Greenough School have been named 2027 National Merit Scholarship semifinalists, standing out among about 370 high scorers statewide. They'll now submit detailed applications, essays, and test scores for a chance at part of $24 million in scholarships to be awarded beginning next spring.
