62-Year-Old Injured In Dedham Park Assault, Police Say
The Dedham Police Department is investigating the incident.
DEDHAM, MA — A 62-year-old man was hospitalized after an altercation at a Dedham park Saturday night, according to police.
Emergency dispatchers received a 911 call around 10:04 p.m. reporting an assault and battery at Condon Park on Bussey Street, Dedham police said.
Officers arrived and found the 62-year-old man suffering from physical injuries, police said. Medical aid was provided before he was taken to a local hospital for further treatment. Police did not say how severe his injuries were.

Police Investigating Incident
Officers obtained descriptions of other people believed to have been involved and later located several juveniles who may have been connected to the incident in the East Dedham Plaza parking lot, police said.
Initial information indicates the people involved met at Condon Park before the interaction escalated, police said.
