Annual 'Great Strides Walk to Cure Cystic Fibrosis' Arrives Sunday in Dedham

The 4.2-mile walk begins at 12 p.m. on Sunday at the Endicott Estate in Dedham.

Walkers in Dedham will unite this Sunday in an effort to cure cystic fibrosis. 

The annual "Great Strides Walk to Cure Cystic Fibrosis" will kick off Sunday, May 18 at the Endicott Estate. Check-in for the event will be at 11 a.m., and after completing the 4.2 mile walk, participants will be treated to food catered by the Chuck Wagon Diner and entertainment by DJ Steve Lally. 

Walkers from Dedham Middle School and Dedham High School have teams participating and volunteering in this year's event.

The effort so far has raised $135,199 toward its goal of $240,000
