Art In Bloom 2019 Exhibit
The four day exhibit will open on Wednesday, April 10 with a reception at 6:30 pm at the Main Library.
The Main Library on Church Street will be the venue for Art in Bloom 2019 exhibit from Wednesday, April 10 through Saturday, April 13th. The opening reception for the exhibit will be Wednesday night from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Light refreshments will be served that evening. The exhibit will feature artwork from students from Dedham Middle and High School along with amateur and professional artists in the community.
This year, the exhibit is an open theme, leaving the subject matter up to the artist. The show will include photography, painting, drawing, sculpture and mixed media. Positioned with some of the art work will be floral arrangements created by volunteers from the Friends of the Dedham Public Library, the Dedham Junior Women's Club and the Fairbanks Garden Club. The floral arrangements will be put together at the Endicott Greenhouse on Monday, April 8 then moved to the library with the artwork on Wednesday, April 10th.
This project, organized by the Friends of the Dedham Public Library and the Dedham Square Artists' Guild, is supported in part from a grant from the Dedham Cultural Council, a local agency supported by the Mass. Cultural Council, a state agency along with a grant from the Dedham Junior Women's Club.
