6:47 p.m. - Police responded to a report of a robbery at Family Dollar on Bussey Street. Witnesses at the store told police that two men and a woman walked into the store, stayed in there for seven minutes and left. When they exited, the security alarm went off. The two men refused to stop and the woman continued to leave, despite a store employee grabbing her purse to retrieve items believed to be stolen. The woman was able to get away with the assistance of the two men but did not leave with the bag. Police were able to locate the license of a Sturbridge woman while searching the bag. Police planned on pressing charges against the woman for shoplifting and attempting to commit a crime.
