Biker Struck By Car, Shoplifting, And More: Dedham Police Log

June 27
2:13 p.m. - A vehicle was traveling north on Court Street and approaching the intersection of High and Ames Street with a green light when a cyclist believed she had a signal to cross Ames Street. She did not and she was struck by the vehicle. The cyclist was transported to Norwood Hospital. Witnesses say the light was green and the driver attempted to slow down for the cyclist.

5:04 p.m. - Oscar Paz, 31, was arrested on Bussey Street and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding.
7:14 p.m. - Two shoplifters were reported at TJ Maxx at the Dedham Mall. Police will seek charges against both of the suspects.

June 29
7:30 p.m. - A shoplifter was reported at Toys R Us at the Dedham Mall.
June 30
12:20 a.m. - Eric Patton, 20, was arrested on Washington Street on a warrant. He also received a citation for a broken taillight.
July 1
2:56 p.m. - Several flowers were reportedly cut and stolen from a garden on Washington Street.
