Break-in, Theft, and More: Dedham Police Log

March 11

12:46 p.m. - A driver on Dedham Boulevard was a rounding the bend when he lost control of his steering wheel and struck a small tree.

7:52 p.m. - Police responded to a report of a suspicious person on East Brook Road. The person was placed in protective custody.

March 13

2:38 p.m. - A vehicle break-in was reported on Colburn Street. The victim told police that she knew the suspect because it was someone who she has mutual friends with. The suspect has been issued a summons for larceny by stealing.

9:39 p.m. - About $1,500 in merchandise was reported stolen from a store at Legacy Place.
