Civic Pride to Honor Jerry LaVoie and Dedham Savings Bank

The Dedham Civic Pride Spotlight Award will go to Jerry LaVoie and Dedham Savings Bank for their long time support of Dedham Civic Pride.

The Friends of Dedham Civic Pride will be honoring Jerry LaVoie and Dedham Savings at their Spring Gala on Friday, May 3, 2019 at the historic MIT Endicott House from 6:30 to 9:30 pm.

Jerry LaVoie and Dedham Savings have been long time supporters of Dedham Civic Pride. They have been a Spring Gala supporter since the inception of the event and also have a Sponsor-A-Spot at the intersection of Elm and Washington Streets.

Jerry had a 31 year career with Dedham Savings, starting in 1987 as Vice President of Marketing. He was promoted to Senior Vice President in January 1997, and then Promoted to Executive Vice President in July 1998. In 2009 he became the Chief Operating Officer, where he oversaw Dedham Savings Marketing, the Retail Division, and their Deposit Operations Division. He currently serves as a Board member of the Dedham Institution for Savings Foundation.

Along with supporting Dedham Civic Pride, Dedham Savings Bank has been the “Friend”, the “Supporter”, “The Helping Hand” for the many Community organizations in town. Other organizations that have received a helping hand from Dedham Savings include the Dedham Historical Society, Dedham School of Music, Dedham Community House, The Ramble Walk-a-thon, the schools, both public and private, many sports organizations, The Rotary Club, The Lyons Club, to name just a handful.
