Civic Pride Welcomes New Business to Sponsor-A-Spot

Dedham Civic Pride welcomed a new business into their Sponsor-A-Spot program right before Thanksgiving. Dedham Ophthalmic Consultants and Surgeons stepped up to sponsor the spot at Dedham Crossing at the intersections of High and East Streets. The site features a carved sign reading"Dedham Square Crossing" along with a variety of local and seasonal plants.

According to their website, Dedham Ophthalmic Consultants and Surgeons, founded in 2007, was established to offer routine eye care and comprehensive medical and surgical eye care to the residents of Dedham and surrounding communities. They offer cataract and glaucoma treatment and care, treatment for eye disease and conditions affecting the retina, and cosmetic eye procedures. Sponsor-A-Spot is the largest program of Dedham Civic Pride. Over 60 sites are planted, maintained and watered by the Friends of Dedham Civic Pride's landscape staff from April through November. Through Sponsor-A-Spot, Dedham Civic Pride works to stay on their mission of improving the aesthetics of the town and promote civic pride.
