Coronavirus: Dedham Spring Election Postponed

The new date of the election has not yet been decided.

DEDHAM, MA — In response to the new coronavirus, Dedham postponed its annual spring election. The election was scheduled for April 11.

Dedham has also closed public areas until May 4, including town hall, playgrounds and the senior center. Tracks and walking trails in town are still open but officials remind residents that anyone outside should practice social distancing.

There were 36 confirmed cases of the virus in Dedham as of April 1. The Board of Health releases confirmed cases on a weekly basis.
