The Dedham American Legion Band is doing multiple performances!

Due to the Sponsorship of Dedham Savings, The Dedham American American Legion Band, Post 18 was able to do 4 Performances in Massachusetts, 3 Local.

First the Band performed starting at 12pm on Saturday November 6th for Boston's Veterans Day Parade, then on Sunday performed at Bourne National Cemetery starting at 11:45am.

The Band will have 2 more performances this week. First prior to 10am and during a breakfast to Celebrate Veterans from 10am-12pm the band will be playing at The U.S.S. Jacob Jones VFW Post 2017 at 84 Eastern Ave in Dedham. The Final performance will start at 10:30am on Thursday November 11th for the Veteran's Day Ceremony at Memorial Park 92 Rosemary Street in Needham, MA

The Band was formed in October 2012 and is always seeking musicians, color guard and .supporters. Its Mission is to service Dedham, Needham and surrounding communities by providing performing groups for ceremonies, concerts, parades and other venues, promote Patriotism, the US Military and Veterans' organizations and provide the opportunity for musical and personal growth of members.

New members of middle school age and above are welcome.

** American Legion Eligibility not required.

The membership consists of men and women who enjoy music together.

The band will perform parades, concerts, ceremonies and other Venues. Uniforms, music, percussion, sousaphones provided, other instruments can be provided.
