The Dedham American Legion Band, Post 18 show their support for Vietnam Veterans 40th Anniversary in West Roxbury!!
DALB, Post 18 join West Roxbury, who represented Boston to recognize the Vietnam Veterans on the 40th Anniversary of them serving the US!!
The Dedham American Legion Band, Post 18, in their 3rd Season, performed at The Vietnam 40th Anniversary Service Parade in West Roxbury on Sunday, October 18th. It was their 2nd time performing in Dedham and was the 35th performance of this young band. The Dedham American Legion Band, Post 18 is a volunteer band founded in October of 2012 by David Zablatsky and Jeanette Berger. The band’s mission is to promote patriotism, the US military and Veterans’ organizations. This goal is achieved through serving the local communities by providing live music for various venues while providing opportunity for personnel and musical growth of its members. The membership consists of men and women who enjoy music. The Band is seeking musicians, color guard and support members, middle school age and above. Openings exist in all sections. No auditions necessary. Uniforms, music, percussion, sousaphones provided. Other instruments can be provided as well. American Legion eligibility is not required.
