Dedham Civic Pride Celebrates Fall with Beer & Wine Tasting

This social gathering fundraisers helps supports the programs of Dedham Civic Pride.

Last Friday night supporters and friends of Dedham Civic Pride gathered at the Endicott Estate to take part in the 6th Annual Beer and Wine Tasting. This event is one of two social gathering fundraisers held by the Friends of Dedham Civic Pride.

Over 140 people attended the event and were treated to a fabulous spread of appetizers, dips, sandwiches, pizza and desserts. The tasty treats were donated by many local restaurants and stores. Our appreciation to BJ’s, Wegman’s, Salem Market, El Centro, Pancho’s, Egg and Thai, Blue Ribbon Barbecue, Tremezzo, Cutlets of Medfield and Kake of Natick. Guests were also able to sample a variety of red, white and rose wines from Fine Estate of Spain. Olivardi Restaurant of Norwood also provided samples of wine and appetizers served at their restaurant. Those who favored beer had the opportunity to taste the new larger beers from Jack’s Abbey.

The raffle table proved to be a popular item at the event, with many of the guest purchasing raffle tickets to take a chance to win the great items donated to Dedham Civic Pride. Our thank to Jessica Porter for donating a Jack’s Abbey Gift Bucket, Rick Sidorowicz for donating coffee for the coffee baskets and the chocolates for the thank you favors, Corinne Trani for handcrafting the fleece blankets, Décor and More of Westwood for their gift basket, Amy Black for the tailgating cooler complete with beer and a Scout cooler bag, Soul Cycle at Legacy Place for their free class certificates and socks, Heart of the Square for their gift certificate and Fine Estate of Spain for their champagne donation.
