Dedham Civic Pride Dresses Dedham Square in Autumn Colors
Fall has arrived in Dedham Square.
The Friends of Dedham Civic Pride’s Landscape Staff have been busy giving the Blooms pots and Sponsor-A-Spots throughout the town a change of season dressing. Chrysanthemums, kale, mini pepper plants and small pumpkins have been added to the Blooms pots in Dedham Square and Oakdale Square.
Two well seen spots in Dedham Square have been transformed from summer to fall with the addition of hay bales, corn stalks, pumpkins and scarecrows.
“Our landscape staff has been doing a fabulous job this year” said Amy Black, co-chair of the Dedham Civic Pride Committee. “They pour their heart into the work they do, and they really want the town looking its best.” Comments on the Dedham Civic Pride Facebook page reflect the satisfaction many of the town residents have with Dedham Civic Pride. “We get comments regularly when we post the most recent work or project done by our landscape staff. Everyone has positive things to say about the way the town looks and the work of Dedham Civic Pride.” said Black.
