DEDHAM, MA — A local paving contractor has been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to multiple counts of larceny.

William Pusateri, 59, was sentenced to up to six years in prison after scamming 11 residents, including senior citizens, out of more than $15,000, Norfolk District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey announced Thursday.

He pleaded guilty to multiple counts of larceny for taking money from residents in Foxborough, Sharon, Dedham and Westwood after promising to complete driveway or other home improvement projects, according to the DA's office. The work was either not performed or left incomplete.
