Final details on snow removal, transportation, and cafeteria coverage need to be worked out before the school can open.

DEDHAM, MA — Construction at the new Early Childhood Education Center is almost done, and soon, preschoolers and kindergartners can move into the new school, the Dedham School Committee announced at its meeting on Jan. 2.

During the meeting, Superintendent Michael Welch said the school should open sometime in mid-February. Welch told the committee that student field trips to the new building are scheduled for early February, the Dedham Transcript reported.

Before students can move into the new school, Welch said there are still some logistics to work out. Final details on snow removal, transportation, and cafeteria coverage need to be worked out before the school can open.
