Dedham Gas Station Shooting May Be Related To Previous Robbery
An attempted armed robbery earlier in the week could be related to the recent shooting.

DEDHAM, MA — Dedham police believe an attempted armed robbery earlier this week could be related to Thursday's robbery turned shooting at a Sunoco in town. Two masked men were involved in the Thursday incident and one masked man in Monday's incident — the victim in Thursday's shooting is expected to make a full recovery.
Around 8:40 p.m. on Monday, Dedham Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at Terri's Market, located at 12 Louise Road.
When police got to the scene they learned that a suspect armed with a handgun demanded money from the store clerk and fled toward Sherman Road with an undisclosed amount of cash from the store.

The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5 feet, 5 inches tall, wearing a black ski mask, black pants and a black jacket with a small silver zipper on the left arm and silver zipper on the front.
No injuries were reported in the incident.

Then at 11 p.m. on Thursday, Dedham Police responded to a report of an attempted armed robbery at Ames Street Sunoco, located at 19 Ames St.
When police got to the scene they learned that two men entered the store and demanded money. The taller of the two men was armed with a handgun.
The taller suspect shot the clerk in the leg before both men ran off.
The taller suspect was described as wearing blue jeans, a black shirt, a black jacket with a hood and a black mask. The smaller suspect was described as wearing black pants, a black jacket with a stripe going from the shoulder area down each arm and a logo on the left breast area and a black ski mask.
The clerk was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Dedham Police are investigating the possibility that the two incidents are related.
The incidents are under active investigation by the Dedham Police Department with assistance from the Massachusetts State Police and Norfolk District Attorney's Office.
