Dedham High Girls' Softball Team Headed to Division 2 South Finals
Dedham will be facing Bishop Stang at Taunton High Sunday at 4 p.m.

Every year, there is a team who comes out of nowhere and going on to knock out teams seeded ahead of them in state tournament seeding.

Dedham will be playing in the Division 2 South finals against Bishop Stang at Taunton High, Sunday, in a 4 p.m. game.

After entering the tournament as the No. 18 seed with an 11-9 record, Dedham has been riding the strong arm of Amanda Carilli and their hots bats throughout the postseason.
In the tournament, Dedham has already beaten Norton, the No. 2 seed , 10-1, then in their only close game of the postseason, defeating the No. 10 seed Apponequet, 2-1, and then earned its spot in the finals with a 9-1 win over No. 6 Duxbury, Wednesday.
