Dedham High School Boosters Club holds Annual Fall Awards Banquet...
event attended by hundreds
The Dedham High School Cafeteria was packed to capacity earlier this week, as Ju Ju Mucciaccio and the Booster Club honored all of the school`s varsity athletes at their annual Fall Awards Banquet.
Parents and students athletes alike, came out in force, as the students received their varsity letters from the school and were treated to a host of guest speakers, a nice dinner, and the pleasure of one another`s company.
One by one, the speakers told the crowd how proud they were, not only of the students, their teams, and their accomplishments this season, but of their parents and their academic stature.

Principal Ron McCarthy announced to the crowd that Dedham High School had once again been chosen as a Level 1 high school, and that only 36% of the high schools in the State have done so. Athletic Director Steve Traister told the students and their parents to hold their heads high and be proud, that of the 717 boys and girls at DHS, 48% of them chose to play a Fall Sport, one of the highest percentages in the State.
It was school committee chairman Tom Ryan that hit the nail on the head however, when he told the audience “that 20 years from now, you`re not going to remember the actual wins and losses, but you will always remember being part of that team!”
