I have greatly enjoyed working with our faculty, staff, families, and students. We have accomplished a lot during the past six years and we should all be proud. I want to thank all of the talented and dedicated faculty and staff at Dedham High School. They are the heart and soul of Dedham High School. They have been the driving force and without their hard work we would not have the significant increases in student learning and achievement," McCarthy said in a letter to parents.

James Forrest, an assistant principal at the school, has been appointed by Superintendent Michael Welch as the intern principal for the 2017-18 school year.
