Dedham Hosts Informational On Ins And Outs Of Local Government

The session is tailored to people who want to get involved in local government but aren't sure exactly how.

DEDHAM, MA — Dedham wants more residents to get involved in local government and is offering the tools to get started. On Nov. 5 the town will host an informational session titled "Local Government 101: How You Can Make a Difference in Dedham."

The event is hosted by Women in Democracy Dedham (WINDD), a non partisan effort committed to engaging more women in local politics and educating the public about local government. WINDD supports voters and candidates by providing information and resources through our events and workshops.

The session will be held at Endicott Estate and start at 7 p.m. and end at 9 p.m.

A follow up event will be held on January 30, 2020 called Local Government 101: Getting Elected or Appointed, which will include everything you need to know about the election process for Town Meeting and other offices.
