Dedham Man Charged in Connecticut Cell Phone Heist
A Massachusetts man has been charged in connection with the theft of merchandise valued at about $12,000 from a South Windsor, Conn. store.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A Massachusetts man has been arrested in connection with the theft of 20 cell phones from an South Windsor store in February.
Ralaehk Martin, 19, of Dedham, Mass., was charged with second-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit second-degree larceny. Bond was set at $60,000, which was reduced to $15,000 at his arraignment in Manchester Superior Court. He is still in custody, according to judicial records.

The charge stems from a Feb. 2016 case in which several suspects stole 20 cell phones valued at about $12,000 from the Apple Store at Evergreen Walk in South Windsor, Conn., Deputy Chief Scott Custer said.
Investigators spoke with detectives in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, where similar thefts had occurred, and determined that Martin was one of the involved parties. An arrest warrant was later obtained for Martin, Custer said.

He is scheduled to return to court July 12.
