Dedham Police To Conduct Liquor License Compliance Checks
The checks will see if restaurants and establishments are carding customers when they are ordering alcohol.

DEDHAM, MA — Dedham bars and restaurants will have a visit from someone working with the Dedham Police Department as part of a liquor license compliance check.
Dedham Police announced Tuesday that they will be conducting compliance checks sometime during 2018. The department said in a press release that the purpose of the checks is to ensure that liquor license holders within the town are complying with regulations put forth by the Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission and the Town of Dedham when it comes to underage drinking.
Police say the checks could include an underage operative attempting to order alcohol with a valid under-21 state license or possibly without one.
