Dedham Police Log: Firearm Charges, Disorderly Conduct, and More

January 21

3:36 p.m. - During a traffic stop on Route 1, a driver received a summons for operating with a suspended license, red light violation, and a child seat belt violation.

3:38 a.m. - Elizabeth Downarowicz, 24, was arrested a the Holiday Inn on Ariadne Road and charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and assault and battery on a police officer.

9:29 p.m. - Police responded to a report of a vehicle on Washington Street that was parked with its lights on for an hour. Inside the vehicle, police found a sleeping man and prescription pills, syringes, and drug paraphernalia. Police felt the man was impaired and could not drive and took him to the station to call a friend. A bullet was found on the person and will receive a summons because he is not licensed to possess firearms or bullets.

January 20

4:39 p.m. - Police responded to a report of threats at the Dollar Store on Bussey Street. The customer was advised to not return to the store.
